THUNDERBIRD RESORTS EFFORTS ON ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABILITY

Thunderbird Resorts recognizes its role as a responsible member of the hospitality and gaming industry. We engage our employees in education and environment initiatives that allow them to participate in community-building programs.

Our Thunderbird Resorts Efforts on Environment Sustainability or TREES program was conceptualized with three main thrusts in mind:

1. A-WARENESS of sustainable technology (i.e. green engineering: solar energy, wind power, energy efficiency, etc)
2. B-ALANCE: ecosystem protection and management (e.g., water conservation, waste management, coastal clean-ups, tree-planting, marine protection, organic garden, etc.)
3. C-OMMITMENT: corporate social responsibility programs: health services, educational training-related projects and livelihood programs (e.g., volunteering, personal growth and environmental responsibility)
