Thunderbird Resorts, Inc. is an international property developer of dynamic, themed and integrated venues that are anchored by casinos. Our company is publicly-traded on NYSE Euronext Amsterdam (Netherlands) and operates in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Peru, and Philippines. Thunderbird will open its first hotel-casino in Daman, India by 2011.

Since 1997, Thunderbird Resorts, Inc. has successfully developed various leisure and entertainment businesses that operate with very strict standards of internal controls and accountability. We implement the same standards in each of our properties to ensure consistency in security and protection of customers and assets.

OUR NAME

The thunderbird is a mythical creature believed to cause lightning and thunder with the flapping of its wings. It is a symbol of change, power, and good fortune. Similar to our namesake, Thunderbird Resorts is storming its way to different parts of the world and creating excitement for its customers.

THUNDERBIRD RESORTS IN THE PHILIPPINES

The Philippines is Thunderbird Resorts, Inc.’s first market in Asia and serves as the platform for regional development.  In April 2005, we opened our first hotel & gaming facility in Binangonan, Rizal. The following year, we established our second gaming facility in Poro Point, La Union.

Since 2005, Thunderbird Resorts, Inc. has invested over US$50 million and committed a total investment of up to $150 million over the next decade. Our long-term master plan for Poro Point includes a 5-star resort hotel, an 18-hole championship golf course and beach club, an event center, a retail district, and resort-style condominiums and villas.

We have in-house specialists performing a wide range of professional services, including entertainment and leisure management, thematic design, facilities management, finance, performing arts production, regulatory compliance, hotel management, food & beverage management and international law.
